Topic: Using the gmajor and true bypass loops?

Hey guys, im looking at buying a g major 2.

Is it possible to use the G major 2 to

1) switch chanels on my amp(jsx) and
2) switch 2 true bypass loopers like these http://championpedals.com/tgc1.htm on/off via a rocktron midi mate?

(sorry if this has been asked before)

Re: Using the gmajor and true bypass loops?

I don't see any problem with your loopers.  For the head all the pictures of the head I saw don't show any midi or relay switching capabilities. So my guess is no. And even if it did g major only has 2 relays so couldn't have controlled 3 things from only one g2

thanks for the reply.

What i want to do is put my tubescreamer in the looper, so that i can make a preset on the midi mate that turns it off whenever i switch to the clean channel. What would i need to make the JSX work with relay switching?

Sorry for all the Midi noob questions

You can switch channels on the JSX using the G-Major 2 with a custom cable. This can be made yourself fairly easily following the instructions here:
