Topic: G force, mesa triaxis and simul class 2:90.

in my setup, when I change a pach in my foot control (Roland FC 200) there is a quick break in the sound, cause g force change slower the the triaxis. If I put bypass in g force there is not break in the sound. How can I get a solution to this problem? is a kind of configuration, or is the version of the g force? my g force is v.2.03.
Please somebody help me and sorry my english..

Hello fellow G-Force user!

It might be the effects blocks that you have set up in the G-Force for that program.  If you go from one program that has chorus-delay-reverb-pitch to one that only has reverb the G-Force takes a sec to reconfigure the effects routing.

The fix that I was told, and works for me, is to set up effects blocks as close to each other or identical for programs you will be switching between the most often.

What you would do for the 2nd program in my example above is add the missing blocks, but turn those effects off and only have the reverb on.  That way the G-Force doesn't have to reconfigure the effects routing when switching to the 2nd program and that should eliminate the pause.

Let me know if you have anyother problems.

What is the order of MIDI devices?  Map it out for me.

Thanks!

Out of Roland foot control to in triaxis, midi thru triaxis to in g force. Its correct?
Thanks.

Re: G force, mesa triaxis and simul class 2:90.

I have this same problem, exact same gear, except i have the GCP...and version 2.04 Gforce.  I've pretty much tried everything to solve the delayed changing of the Gforce to no avail.  Here is what I've tried:

1.) exact same configs between patches
2.) changing the order in the midi (triaxis then gforce, gforce then triaxis)
3.) running it in power chain and running it thru fx loop.

Non of these helped.  I still have a lag in the gforce...triaxis changes just about instantaneously, but Gforce is late...

Example, where it is really annoying, I have compressor clean, then change to distortion and you can hear the compressor on the distortion for a while as it changes gforce patch...uhg!

Anyone know of any other possible solutions?  Or is this just how the Gforce works, if so, this lagging is not acceptable to me in a live situation.

Thanks everyone for the help

Nevermind...i fixed the problem... my Gforce was set up for omni in Midi...  so it was changing twice because it was accepting the midi msg intended for the Triaxis.  Triaxis CH1, Gforce should have been CH2.  ugh!

The Gforce is actually pretty seamless with spillovers & with the identical config routing with bypasses.  Everyone who thinks is not seamless or glitchy...  wrong, it is a programming set up issue.  At least me, it was tongue

do you have the order of MIDI devices?  if yes, could you please Map it out?
