I've used the novasystem together with a blackstar ht5 top (and 2x12-V30-cab) and loved it. especially in the effects loop it sounded great!
imo, the drive section of the nove does like higher watted tube amps better though.

you're gonna love high quality effects of the nova!

I just purchased the Nova System and I love all of TC's products. Tore is a wildman making great video's.  He is a rock star...

I have had a difficult time getting the sounds I like out of this, probably because someone else programmed their likes before I bought the unit used.

I need a little help finding  the mother load of settings.  There are more parameters on some of the settings, like reverb and others that are more than I have adjusted in my days.  Also, I don't have a midi input device or any software for editing patches. I would love to be able to do this.  Is there a midi interface that is really cheap to use just for editing patches?  I don't have any other use for a midi device other than this.

Is there a library of great sounds?  I like a very subtle reverb and delay and all I have been able to come up with is way over the top thus far. Anyone?  Your help would be greatly appreciated.

SIMULATED ACOUSTIC PATCH?

I puchased my Nova System a week ago. All started when a friend suggested I add a delay to my pedalboard.

For anyone thinking about the NS, think no more! What an incredible piece of technology. I run it in front of my SuperSonic as the OD is richer & more tunable than the Burn channel. I'm just scratching the surface with twiddling knobs (there must be thousands of different permuations), but everything I've tried sounds magical. I'm adding the Tech 21 MIDI Moose for awesome control.

On to the question:

Has anyone built a somewhat realistic sounding patch to produce the sound of an acoustic?

Hi there,
I think that you can't "wipe out" all user banks/presets at once, but you can delete one at a time using Delete (Manual, pg.25):

- Press STORE once
- Select DELETE using Encoder D
- Press STORE to confirm

I have the Nova System version did 1.2 want to put the preset of the Nova Limited but my pc it tells me that nn there is the buffer and there is not enough memory, as I can do? Someone of you can help me to you?

Hey guys, i'm fairly new to the nova system as well and I was wondering if somebody could post the settings for ron thals nova limited presets? I don't have the gear needed to MIDI dump them from my laptop.

I can't seem to get sysex librarian to send the limited patches to my Nova system. I have the usb to midi hooked up from my mac to my nova system. I then push play and it says its sending the files but there is nothing on my presets? am I missing a setup in the midi menu section. please help.
