Problems with Fading out

My G-sharp has started to arbitrarily fade out on me after not quite 1 year of faithful service.  The input lights stop coming on and there is no output when run in mono mode. If I move the input cable to the right input, then the unit will work but I only get reverb and no effects.

Sometimes when I unplug the input cable and plug it back in again, it will work for a few minutes and then fade out again.  I have done a factory reset on the unit a couple of times but I still get the same problem.

Anyone else experienced this?  Oh and the knob for the reverb has come off now too I guess because I have re-setup my patches after several factory resets. 

The unit is totally not dependable now because I have no idea when it is going to fade out on me and when it does, it robs me of any output from my amp when plugged in via the effects loop.  If I unplug the amp send side of the loop, I get use of my amp back, but this is not acceptable under any circumstance.

At first I thought it was a bad cable so I went out and bought 2 brand new balanced TRS cables but that did not fix the problem.  Then I thought maybe it was my effects loop, so I tried a couple of different amps and got the same results.  It is definitely a problem with the G-sharp unit.
