I've had mine for almost 2 years and have mostly thoroughly enjoyed it. Most people don't realize that all NS units have a disparity in level between left and right delay level in the dual delay if you're using it in stereo. I was quite disappointed as I really enjoy playing through a stereo rig, but couldn't use the delay as I desired. TC acknowledged the issue 15 months ago replicating it themselves and promising there'd be a fix in 1.14. Obviously that never happened, and they stopped corresponding with me.
Now it may be a moot point, for me at least. My NS has been freezing intermittently for the past 6 months; while this has been infrequent it's always at a gig, but always resolvable by cycling the power a couple of times, until last weeks's gig. It seems to be down for the count this time as I've been trying for 3 days now with no success. It freezes at the point of start up with the screen displaying "Nova System TC Electronic" and the "Factory Default" button lit, otherwise the unit is dark. I may be old school, but in my 30 years as a professional guitarist I've always used multi-fx and single pedals, as well as rack units until I got tired of them and either stashed them away, fully functional, or sold them. This is my first experience where the gear dumped me.
It's too bad as I was actually still really appreciating the NS; great sounds, no wall wart, light weight and easy to travel with given its automatic 110/220v power handling. There's some brilliant design in the unit, but I think TC has given up on these, so I probably will too. I'm now running an MXR compressor, Ernie ball Volume and Wah, Ethos Overdrive TLE (if you don't know this pedal you need to check it out) and an MXR Carbon Copy (I always wished the NS had the option of modulation in its delay circuit).
