Topic: -10db (instrument) and +4 (line) levels with Nova Delay

Does the calibration feature of the Nova Delay compensate for instrument level, effects loop send level, and line level use? The manual states the calibration procedure sets the sensitivity of the AD/DA converters, but I'd like to know if it will handle line level signals. Line level signals typically distort stomp box style pedals, and frequently hot signals from effects loops.

cheers,
Dave

Hi Dave,

The Nova pedals have an extremely high input sensitivity range and will definitely handle Line  level signals as well.

Re: -10db (instrument) and +4 (line) levels with Nova Delay

Tore - This is good news, as I want to use the Nova Delay in a variety of applications. I wish there was an input overload indicator, but I haven't noticed any distortion so far. BTW, the calibrate function seems to work very well, although I can't get any of the LEDs to disappear when switching to low output single coils pickups. My humbucking pickups have enough output to make 2-3 LEDs disappear. Thanks for the reply.

hey does calibration have to do with the output volume of the nova delay?  I tried to calibrate and now there's no volume on the delay repeats...
