Topic: Voodoo Labs GCP and GForce

Say you have an effects patch on your Gforce that has some delay, reverb and an intelligent pitch shift block that is bypassed. How do you use the "instant access" feature on a GCP such that when you momentarily step on the an "instant access" button, it un-bypasses the intelligent pitch shift block?? How do we set up this "CC message" to un-bypass effect blocks on a Gforce??

Thanks,

anyone?

Re: Voodoo Labs GCP and GForce

It's a ghost town here, I mostly just post to myself, I should have my G-Force in less than a week with GCP, if I can get that sorted, I will let you know right away.

Sorry Man

Re: Voodoo Labs GCP and GForce

actually i just figured it out tongue, i need to document for future programming.  If you'll like to program a similar setting, let me know.

Definitely!!! Anything that might help me get setup more easily would be a big help. I really appreciate that.

The wait for the G-Force has been killing me, I can't wait to start getting some presets made, Do you find that the delay length is sufficient? I know the Nova Delay can get 2290ms of delay but I was kinda suprised to see the G-Force only has 700 something ms. Porbably more than enough for what I do but it can still be fun having a really long exagerated delay.

anyhoo, thanks Man, any info you can give me would be great.

Re: Voodoo Labs GCP and GForce

I think you can get the Delay up to 1400ms but i find this just a little too short. I'd like 2 seconds so I can do the 2 part Brian May type harmony.

Thanks,

Go to I/O setup>control>pit>enter;at this time the displayed message will be "learning".Now press the CC button on your pedal board. This button will be assigned to turn the pitch block on/off whenever it is present in an algorithm/preset.

Cant you program CCs on the g force manually?  I can with the G Major.  I just want to tell the Gforce that when ever it recieves CC 007  then to turn on delay

You scroll further down to Delay>enter;the learning function will show.Press any free button on your board. Then turn Parameter wheel to the right for basic midi>control no.__.Now use the value button to change this no. to 007.

Re: Voodoo Labs GCP and GForce

Romvert I really appreciate the info you've been giving here. I finaly got my G-Force and a few of your posts have already saved me a couple of headaches.

Keep it coming Man, I really appreciate it, I'm sure others do as well they just don't post it.

Thank You

Re: Voodoo Labs GCP and GForce

Thanks man, I can barely manage myself. The little help that I get sometimes is from TCUS but I did have to sun-of-a-bitch them a bit to get their attention. What surprises me is that no others really contribute despite the fact that it is a very good unit (although old) and a lot of people own one.
