Topic: Effects loop on RH 450 :/

So I am new to using effects pedals and even more green on using these types of features on a "solid state" type of amp. I understand thatthere is a way to connect a stomp box to the amp through the rear ports but how would you do it. Just simply connect the boxes to the back port and then plug your bass into the front input? Very confused on this process.

Yes plug your bass into the front of your amp like usual.
Consider the signal path like water flowing through a hose.
The signal goes from the out on the
Rear panel of the amp to the in of your stomp box
then from the out of your Stomp box to the in
on the rear panel of your amp. You can connect
Any number of effects into that signal chain.
There is a diagram in the manual and if you apply
"Water flowing through a pipe" principle you can
Follow how the signal from your bass "flows" through
The amplifier to the speaker output
Instruction on how to get to manuals is the first sticky
On this forum page
Hope this helps.

Thank you, I finally did some experimenting and got it to work last night. I thought the pedals would be powered by just plugging them in but it appears they still need a battery or outside power brick.
