Just got a new G-major 2 and my firmware was at 1.3 R244. It appears that it is more recent than the 1.02 firmware on the website. Anyone else have a similar experience? I don't think I want to update the firmware. It looks like it would just take me back.

My firmware is at 1.3 R244 too. I think this is the last version

Just received this from TC Support:
"this software is only for newer units that do not have SPDIF I/O and is not an update- If you have a G-Major 2 with SPDIF I/O, you should stick to version 1.02"
Will the latest firmware (1.02 or whatver it is) help in improving the patch change response time ?
Well that is interesting considering my unit at 1.3 R244 has SPDIF inputs and outputs. Not sure that makes sense to me given my hardware/software combination. Maybe the 'with' and 'do not have' were transposed?

Just got my G Major 2 and it is 1.3 244 not sure I will touch the firmware until I find my way round the unit and if I come across a problem. So far so good, still learning.
