1. Products from TC Electronic and other companies may be discussed on this forum. Companies may clarify posts that they believe are misleading or correct misunderstandings, but shall always inform in the post that it is the company posting a message.

2. Do not advertise. Users are not allowed to use the forum as a platform for selling products or services of any kind - no exceptions.

3. Be polite. Everyone should feel comfortable reading posts and participating in the discussions. TC will not tolerate flames or other inappropriate statements, material, or links. Most often, a "flame" is simply a statement that is taunting and thus arbitrarily inflammatory. However, this also includes those which are libelous, defamatory, indecent, harmful, harassing, intimidating, threatening, hateful, objectionable, discriminatory, abusive, vulgar, obscene, pornographic, sexually explicit, or offensive in a sexual, racial, cultural, religious, political, or ethnic context.

4. Use descriptive and appropriate titles when creating a thread. Titles such as, $!Help!%?$¤?OMG WHAT DO I DO!!?1!!1!! and L4m3rS Ar3 5tup1D!!1!1 will not generate helpful responses, and ultimately cause more work for users trying to find threads on a given topic.

5. Stay on topic. The TC Forum is here to help people use TC products more effectively. Do not post rants or venting on unrelated or nontechnical topics, discussions of or commentary on TC policies or procedures, speculation on TC decisions or interpretations of TC statements.

6. Post constructive comments, questions or product feedback. Unless otherwise noted, your submission should either be an info/support question or an info/support answer.

7. Post new threads in the most suitable section. Read the section descriptions before starting a thread to ensure you are posting in the right place.

8. Post bumping, cross-posting the same message to multiple topics, and sock-puppetry is not allowed.

9. Help other members assist you with your problem by posting all relevant information about the problem you are experiencing. Steps you've taken, information about your workflow and information about previous trouble shooting will generate a helpful response.

10. Discussions of or commentary on TC user forum rules or moderation is not allowed. All moderation is at the sole discretion of TC and not subject to further discussion.

11. These rules are subject to change without notice at any time and at the sole discretion of TC. You are responsible for keeping up with any revisions yourself and are advised to check these rules periodically.

Failure to meet these rules may result in unannounced post deletion or editing, thread deletion or closure, user ban, or site wide IP blocking.
